Welcome to the NEW Growing City!  There's been quite a few changes over the past month and I'm excited to share what we've been working on to make your composting experience even better :D

Brand spanking new website and logo!  As you've probably noticed, Growing City pulled a Madonna and re-invented itself.  We've spiffied up our image and upgraded our old website x 1000.  The new one is faster, easier to navigate, way easier to share content with and just way cooler, really.  It took us some time to get it all done and transition over to our new .com address, but it was worth it!  Our new 'do is totally world-class!

Better Diversion Update reports!  We've made some big changes to our Diversion Updates - not just a whole new look - we've developed a more reliable module for creating them that will give you more diversity in your monthly reports.  That means that each month you'll see a whole new set of items and objects equal to your diversions (everything from elephants and rhinos to fax machines to Celine Dion and some other Canadian treasures!).  We've even added your methane diversion equivalency.  Even better, we now have a Diversion Update widget that syncs with your Diversion Update report that you can add to your website to showcase your diversions to the whole world!  Awesome!!

More connectivity!  You've probably noticed that we've added some fun twitter and facebook blocks to our site - we want to hear your feedback about what's going on with your composting and also with your community.  It was important for me that this new site make sharing and commenting way easier.  So stay in touch with us and let us know what you're thinking!  (We've got some great prizes and giveaways over the next month for those of you who share the most, so stay tuned ;D )

Pretty exciting stuff - and those are just the changes that you can see!  We've also done a lot of work on our back end to ensure that your service with Growing City continues to be simple, clean, convenient and more efficient too!

Cleaner air, less waste, more fun - it's what we're all about here at GC.  We love working together with you - and as you can see on our Growing City's Growing Diversions tab, together we're making some serious impacts on our local environment and community!
