Sustainable Uniforms

All our Growing City Uniforms are made in Canada from 100% recycled plastics.

Banned Plastic Drinking Bottles

Plastic and single-serving cups and bottles have been banned from the Growing City work environments - that includes our trucks!

Ethically-made Bins

All our bins are Simple Human bins. We specifically chose this brand because of their dedication to having ethically made products and reduced packaging.

95% Paperless Company

All of our invoices, newsletters and Diversion Updates are emailed to our clients. We also have a no-email printing policy.

All Natural Cleaners

All our cleaners are 100% natural and eco-safe. This includes our own Growing City Pure Clean - a synthetic chemical free cleaner we had made with a local aroma therapist that smells great and is completely non toxic!

Eco-Responsible Cleaning Products

All of our clothes are made from recycled wood fibers and are so durable that we rarely need to replace them.

Special High-density Routing

We have a minimum number of clients needed for an area before we’ll drive to service that location. We try to avoid driving as often as possible,and our drivers are trained to park strategically and walk to several locations to reduce driving.

Monthly Community Events

Each month Growing City partners with a different community organization to promote and participate in a local sustainable event.

Soil Donation Programs for Non-profits

Growing City supports several community gardens and children’s gardens and donates compost to those initiatives during our monthly community events.
